To my knowledge, in recent times, staffing has never been an issue for Delta, United, American, FedEx, or UPS and they set the bar in terms of pay. So, how is that an airline in the past would have 15,000 resumes on hand for maybe 150 jobs and was still able to bargain for good work rules and above average pay?
I meant for regionals and LCCs that are trying to squeeze blood out of a stone...Yes, too broad a generalization. Does not apply to the legacies.
