Well nobody is proposing that so it is a bunch of hyperbole. But for sake of argument, where do you think we would get the lost lift from at that point? Or do you think DAL would shrink?
Pretty sure there has been a mention or two of longevity based pay, which is generally construed as seat and longevity only and is exactly the same as a single band.
There are some airlines that operate that way.
