It's not so much that they were bad, but the mic picked up a lot of the cockpit noise/wind noise and fed it back through as an annoying hash. I fly the 145. And my FO’s that have A20’s I’ve noticed their mic picks up a bunch of background noise too.

The easiest way to cut it the background noise the mic picks up is get a better mic muff with a leather cover that goes over the foam on the mic muff.
