We could get that exact thing now. Just tell your MEC reps that you want the DL profit sharing, so to get that you are willing to give up 49% of our existing international flying to JV partners, and just take a revenue share. Sure we will lose about 1,500 WB jobs, but we will get a few more $ in profit sharing.
In the next downturn, when there’s no profits, neither Delta nor United will be getting profit sharing checks, but we will still have a WB fleet that 2X the size of Delta’s. And I’d rather take the bird in the hand vs the 2 in the bush.
