In the next downturn, when there’s no profits, neither Delta nor United will be getting profit sharing checks, but we will still have a WB fleet that 2X the size of Delta’s. And I’d rather take the bird in the hand vs the 2 in the bush.
While i dont agree with all the JVs we do and our lack of WB flying but 70%+ of our revenue comes from domestic flying so i dont think your argument holds much water.
That being said, i wish we had your deadhead language and pay banding.
