Did I miss my chance? Planesense HR called me in July about an FO position and I respectfully declined. At the time I was a 1000 hour pilot flying the gear handle in a part 135 Lear. Now that I’m over 1200 hours, I reapplied to the company in the hopes of fast tracking to the left seat. I called HR and submitted an updated resume, but I’m hearing crickets!
Did I miss the boat? I have phone interviews with two similar companies next week. I’m ready to leave the Lear and move to a bigger, better company but I’d hate to accept a new position and get called by Planesense the next day.
Any thoughts? How can I get my resume up to the top of the stack or did I shoot myself in the foot by turning them down?
