I guess that's what must have happened regarding my initial post. At first I thought a moderator flagged my account or something but that makes sense. I'm just glad to be able to post here and get this type of info/advice.
I won't do anything until consulting a better attorney. That link looks perfect! I'll give them a call and do the phone consultation...seriously that is exactly what i was trying to find. Every lawyer I searched seemed to be either not very knowledgeable of my specific predicament or out of business etc.
I'll call them next week (on payday) and see what they say....and truly, thank you guys for the advice. I feel way better about my situation. I mean it still sucks but I did think it would be a lot worse or a possible career ender.
I'll let you guys know what they say and what ends up happening.
