If you're trying to see if you can push the 2 hour window for a commute, it's a stretch. And there are plenty of ghost stories about certain chiefs waiting for you at the gate at the 2 hour mark. I can't imagine reserve is that long for a new hire so you may have to bite the bullet and get a crash pad. There's some good ones out there, just ask around. Good way to meet mainline pilots too.
I’m not flying in to reserve but the drive with LA traffic can really push it sometimes. With minimal traffic, it’s only a 45 minute drive but at rush hour you can add an hour just for the parking lot. Just wondering what my options are — thanks.
