or wild speculation into how this would affect upgrade times or even be implemented? A few months ago I foolishly thought I had this whole regional airline thing figured out when I got a CJO. Now that the 100 aircraft order may or may not have fallen through and SW changed their pay rates...it looks like that is not the case.

I feel you, in the same boat too. Still hoping for the Compass purchase (tongue in cheek, pipe dream). Seems like picking a regional is like playing the lotto, seems like all the good regionals were yesterday's dogs.
