No one will be forced back to FO positions. If they reduce 45 320 CA positions there will be at least 45 new 737 positions
Based on how they processed the JFK closure, the reduction & subsequent vacancies will likely result in downgrades unless they actually consult with the MEC and sign a side letter. But just adding 45 CA slots to the Boeing side will NOT protect CA’s from being downgraded.
