Oh, my point was about circadian rythyms. A shorter window means the cycle will be unpredictable and can shift to undesirable times much easier. This could become a WOCL issue. I personally can’t force myself to sleep too early in the day. Also caffeine consumption late in the day can cause sleep loss. It must be true, I was counseled about it on Rally. Fact is daily adjusting to a non 12/24 hour cycle is hard on the body. There is a reason international pilots age quicker. BTW it’s now illegal to use over the counter sleep aids like Tylenol PM within 48 hours of flying.
