Fact is daily adjusting to a non 12/24 hour cycle is hard on the body. There is a reason international pilots age quicker. BTW it’s now illegal to use over the counter sleep aids like Tylenol PM.
How often do you sit reserve? I have been doing it on and off since 2007 and there has been zero predictability in my SC starts and reserve callouts.
Any supposed relationship between 9 hours and unpredictable cycles is just pure speculation.
