Neglect is malicious. I disagree with your explanation. We are constantly reminded to do better and strive to improve. This has been an acceptable excuse for too long. This kind of stuff would never fly on the customer side. The experience of regularly being shorted would drive HVCs off in a heartbeat.

They should just try and fix the paystub. It's horrible that I have to look at 3 different things to verify that I am paid correctly.
1) We ARE the pay department's customers. That, in and of itself, makes me angry that we have to put up with this kind of 'customer service'.
2) Why can't we get our pay system streamlined? Is it (gasp) an IT issue? I agree that it's crazy trying to figure out what my next paycheck is going to be. I've been told by every financial guru that I must make a budget and "tell my money where to go" to be successful at money management. How on earth can I make a budget when I can't figure out what my paychecks are going to be from month to month. Don't get me wrong, I do get paid pretty well, but I can't fill out a simple month budget and PLAN how to distribute my earnings; I have to wait until payday and THEN do the budget.
