Id also like to add that the E195 E2 has been lengthened by two rows since C2012. Its now 120+ seats in a dual class config. Just a couple seats shy of a 319 or 700. If they do decide to go with a SMNB, this is the path they most certainly will take, at the expense of some of our older 737s (700s).
But the addition of a SNB cannot be at the expense of our current fleet. If it was with our crappy pay rates why didn’t they already do this. Is the additional fleet type that much more expensive then the labor cost savings for the smaller aircraft. Only Kirby know that answer.
