I’ve been noticing (and hearing from coworkers) that there’s been more pushback from cockpit crews when FAs want a passenger removed for appearing to be intoxicated. I’ve experienced it a few times where the Capt will say “well are they bothering anyone?”. The FARs are black and white on the matter so why would you as a pilot not back up your FAs if there’s the appearance that a passenger is intoxicated?
