Hello guys/gals. Curious as to if your jumpseat procedures have changed. In the past I’ve always just walked to gate to list, but have heard stories recently of agents requiring a listing. Wide open out of KOA tomorrow and was hoping to get out of there the cheaper route. TIA
It depends. If it's Southwest or American (I know SWA doesn't fly out of Hawaii but it still applies to them,) you need to list on
https://www.myidtravel.com/myidtrave...=login-generic and create a PNR. American gate agents aren't required to create a listing for you and may make you do it online first. SWA gate agents do not even have to ability to create a listing anymore, jumpseat or otherwise.
