Um maybe you should go to your manuals and answer your own question. It's not as simple as the good old days when a Captain said something it was like it came from a burning bush. The company has a procedure set up that requires us to talk to just about everyone in the company before removing a passenger. Especially since there will be about 15 youtube videos posted about it saying how the passenger wasn't bothering anyone.
I am very familiar with what my manual and the procedure. That's not what i'm referring to. I'm referring to the cockpit crew insisting someone that is visually drunk remain on the aircraft. I understand discussing the removal with the "security team".
