This is exactly the plan Motorboatin has for getting an industry standard pay rate. Quoted from one of his posts:

I know it’s fun to say everything you said, and a lot of pilots get onto that moronic bandwagon, but educate yourself. Adopting pbs and giving up vacation as we know it, scheduling flexibility and premium pay is not something I’m willing to do. Are you???”
Plan eight more years of sacraficing your vacation to credit 150 hours a month and living on the flica open time folder to get a AVERAGE payrate.
