The 10k is paid when you sign the Mesa contract right after you get hired with SAE. It locks you into a contract to flow to Mesa at 1800 hours or 550 hours as PIC at SAE and to serve 1 year at Mesa as an FO. As for non-rev you get AAC travel status on American for you only, no spouses or children. However your spouse and dependents will get ZED fare benefits on the growing list of ZED partners SAE has after 6 months on the job.
