I know the sorrow of losing comrades in the air ambulance field. In total I knew 11 folks who died in the field.
My heart goes out to you and the families of the crew.
It is never a happy time, but we who have served did so with a very subtle pride: we helped someone who needed help. And at the end of the day we went home knowing we had done some good.
