The chief pilot who hired me in 1989 at my long term former pax employer told me that he chose me because I had been an ag pilot. I was flying big jets at the time but the twenty guys I interviewed with were mostly former Easter guys and current and qualified on either the B727, B757 or L1011. They hired only ten in our interview group and one was a crop duster.
I had Electra time and was current on the DC-8 with about 4000 tt, most in cropdusters. I don’t know what NAC is looking for but I think round eng floats and round eng cropdusters are kinda the same animal. Always apply.
