Having a career that pays $150k/year used to be pretty dang comfortable. In aviation, somehow, that's considered a failure.
You can now make a $100K a year to work for 5 month at NJA including my 6 weeks of paid vacation on the 7/7 schedule, I'll take that over sitting reserve at a crash pad and sweating my constant commute at a Mainline. I can't move so I Got a lot of golf to play with my kids!
