7&7 equates to 15.2 work days a month. That's nothing to write home about. Where I am now as a junior guy in base I hold lines working 12 days a month. Max vacation is five weeks where I am now not four like NJA. This is standard in the industry. My first vacation I turned into 25 days off for one week. My last 32 days.
For the person who said they don't want to be on reserve at a 121 main line carrier, realize that it will be temporary at an airline, while it will be reserve ON STEROIDS for your entire career at NJA.
This is the best hiring environment in the history of aviation. Choose wisely.
Adding in 7 PTO days brings the time off / vacation to five weeks.
Assuming the employee uses the 7 PTO days the 7n7 is 12.3 days per month average and including 28 vacation days.
In the cc52 example I provided it works out to 10 days per month average.
