I'm now a junior pilot at a major, working 14 days a month, comprising about 105 duty hours. It's typically 3-on/4-off, but if I want to reshuffle it and work 6-on/8-off, I can do that.

There are things I miss about NJA, but packing two full work weeks into a 7-day tour is not one of them.

I've done both jobs, and was at NJA for a long time. NJA guys put in a lot of hours at work for their money. I don't know a single pilot there who would disagree.
I think real career prestige comes from being thanked for being a Hilton diamond member. You can’t put a price on that.
