Also just gonna throw it out there, with PBS pilots could just bid for trips with a maximum of 5:51 block/day if that's what they want and let people who want more days off have the higher credit/day trips, negating the need for this rule that hoses everyone.
If you want this rule to go away you are going to have to push pretty hard from your side. I still can’t believe we have this stupid rule...
So one leg with 7hrs of duty and 5:51 of flight time you are to fatigued to continue but you are fine to slug away 4 legs through southeast with almost 11 hours of duty... genius
