He should’ve fought this with union help. At least he would’ve gotten some further interaction from the company and the possibility of pleading his case. Please advise him to attempt to reach back out to the union rep. They’ve helped guys in his position or similar positions in the past.
If this is true and I say if because it is from an anonymous poster about something they saw on Facebook, then the union gave him good advice. The guy was in new hire training. If the company wanted to fire him for brushing his teeth with Crest instead of Colgate they could. The guy mislead on his application.
