Hindsight is always 20/20. Most pilots have one thing in common: a desire to complete the flight to the destination airport. Sometimes this can lead us to do things we later think wasn't the best idea. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
Very, very happy nobody got hurt.
It’s rather obtuse of you, Saab2000, to think
all pilots, entrusted with the lives of the sponsors who make our paychecks possible, act in any reckless manner to complete the mission rather than diverting to a suitable airport, or elect for a straight in approach realizing the flight is 7,000’’ above the profile with 30 miles to run.
