We are speaking out because short-term monetary gains are no excuse for a reduction in work rules. These work rules have been gained through years of hard work and fighting. We need to think long and hard about giving them up for an industry bottom salary.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with speaking out about what you believe! The problem is when speaking out becomes directly insulting or ridiculing someone who doesn’t have your same beliefs. Not everyone has to agree on what’s best for everyone, but what shouldn’t happen is an emotional reaction that leads to the putting down of a fellow pilot just because he doesn’t agree with you.
I honestly and truly think the reason that you don’t see more people saying yes is because of the actions of some on this board. This truly is an echo chamber for the No vote. how can you have a discussion when only one side talks?
