Talking to them more, a lot of them had turned down offers from bigger carriers for one reason or another. JetBlue, Virgin, Northwest, Sun Country, Southwest were names I heard they had turned down. They would have all gone back and made a different choice if they could.

I see it the same as commuting. I always make forward progress and get on the earliest flight possible, because I have no idea what will happen later in the day.
