That's just the thing...you technically don't need a 2nd meal or more raises but that's the whole point of collective bargaining. You stick together and negotiate things that make your quality of life better in and outside of work. While I personally don't care about having a 2nd crew meal some people do...and it's about what the collective group wants.

It's not a competition between us workers. The tug of war isn't between us. It's between us and whoever signs our paycheck. The sooner EVERYONE understands that the better we all are at the end of the day.

Also...ignorance spreads like a wildfire. If they say you don't need a 2nd meal or another raise because some are making 7 figures then they're going to say that even if they made 1/3 of that. I get your point but we aren't the enemy here. Those same people making those comments are the same ones that are keeping my quality of life from improving because they don't support bargaining rights. The key here is education.
