G7 is not ALPA. However, some impending loss of flying at one of the TSH carriers and an impending merger of sorts would certainly explain the nonchalant attitude at headquarters about TSA's staffing issues. We were losing pilots like crazy, and management was pretty much saying all of the staffing issues would be solved in a few months, like pilots would suddenly materialize out of nothing.

A potential G7 and TSA merger would be messy to say the least. As long as other regionals/ LCCs/ACMEs are hiring like crazy, I can guarantee if Holdings tries to screw over the TSA pilot group a majority will jump ship from any Hulas ran company. Just look how many pulled the ejection seat when the east coast bases closed. It remains to be seen if the G7 pilots would do the same, but I know the Koolaid is pretty watered down on the TSA side of the house.
