If Spirit is still in growth mode, turbine/complex/high performance instructor time and especially check airman time could get you noticed. A couple years ago they were looking for new hires who could comfortably move into FO instructor slots and later on be full up check airmen, and I don't think things have changed all that much in 2 years.
Get in front of a chief pilot (job fair, whatever) and explain why you'll be an asset to the company and not just there to get a type rating while waiting for a legacy to call.
