Possibly. But they are also canceling augmented flights like ORD-PEK (ORD-NRT next?) and using the aircraft for flights such as ORD-CUN, SFO-DFW. So even with additional airframes it could be a wash as Vasu turns AAL into the worlds biggest regional airline.
