Plus the 787 is easy to learn. Not much different from a 777. (Same type rating but not super similar like 75/76). The A350 is a mind **** at first. Even the A330 guys heads spin when they first get on it.
I’ve heard the initial cadre on the 350 did a really poor job with the program and made it much more difficult than it needs to be.
