The seven six is not a bad gig at all, especially since you live in CVG. As mentioned before, you'll get a lot more nights at home (at least with the current schedule). However, most 767 pilots aren't going much over guarantee right now since all trips are CVG hub flying for DHL. In the near future (probably around February), the 767 will be ETOPS-certified, and I'm sure Connie didn't authorize that just to add an extra few pages to the OpSpecs. Wouldn't be surprised to see trips routinely going to Europe and elsewhere. However, we will still continue flying domestic DHL and (presumably) adding airframes as long as feedstock keeps up.
Is it official that 767s are getting ETOPs?
