In the end, the 350 is just another Airbus with an integrated EFB and much nicer displays (but a relatively low MTOGW that restricts its range).
I can’t believe they were torqued off because they were not awarded a bypass. There is no contractual relief that would have allowed the company to award a bypass. This fact was put out before the bid.
