Arriving at the gate in ATL on Saturday (3 days prior to Christmas & a big travel day) the male FA (#1, flight leader, A-line dude), said “welcome to Atlanta and thank you very much for flying Delta Airlines. Have a very ... (insert slight hesitation) ... merry Christmas!” I sensed no shock or offense among the crowd. As I de-planed, I congratulated him for not “going PC” and for using the genuine word. He was pleased to hear my reaction.
