Woops. I was reading everyone else's posts talking about it being a positive space DH and just assumed that's what he had said I guess. Sorry!
If you are listed for the JS and are assigned a seat in the back, you definitely still need to check in with the captain (except maybe not on Delta, but I still do anyway just to be safe). Positive space, not so much.
