Keep in mind that this management team has a habit of saying things that are interpreted one way and carried out in a much different fashion. Pilot’s perspective “We’re going to grow to 1200 Airplanes”. Great, we’re going to need to hire a bunch of pilots and upgrades will go down. Management’s perspective. “We’re going to grow to 1200 Airplanes”. When do we let Wall Street know we’re acquiring Alaska, JetBlue, Hawaiian, etc. Gary Kelly has even said that WN buys another Airline on average once every 10 years or so. Just making sure that everyone keeps that in mind when trying to project upgrades in the future.
