If you are so stupid as to viciously bash your employer
on its own in-house social media hub, then you deserve any negative consequences coming your way. Common sense and all that.
I find the Sky Hub to be a somewhat useful source of "low hanging fruit" type of information that has a fairly short shelf life. Stuff like "hey if you are working on the holidays there will be food in the pilot lounge" or "the employee shuttle bus will be using different routes the next few days due to [insert reason here]."
There is a lot of that kind of stuff that a social media "hub" is almost uniquely custom designed for. The problem is that users cannot leave it at that, and then all the problems crop up with folks who hit "send" when they really shouldn't.
Not everything needs to be a bulletin or official email. Do we really need to send an email to every ATL-based pilot advertising turkey in the pilot lounge on Christmas? I'm guessing that those who won't access SkyHub probably haven't enabled any company email communications either.
