All of the other airlines have it. We weren’t going to get a TA without it. The company wanted to dismantle our work rules and we fought to keep them but had to take PBS.

Question 2
Why are our pay rates at the bottom and not in the pattern?
Answer
Our pay rates are where they are because we got to keep our work rules.

Drops, splits, trades, and add are all apart of most other airlines already. The ability to do this isn’t that uncommon.
So we fought to keep work rules and the company gave us PBS and industry low pay rates.
Look what’s happening at the regionals right now. They all fight for the highest quality applicants. The companies that get the best have the highest pay rates. All the others continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel. We saw our applicant pool become very shallow in the recent months because of the pay. This cycle will happen again. Sure, we have more applicants right now because of the dramatic increase in pay. It won’t last.

Another question I should have asked was “why did we give up LOA 67”?
So according to you PBS was so desired by the company that there was simply no way they were going to entertain any TA without it. That sounds like a pretty huge ask, something they wanted very badly.

And what was the take for granting the huge ask? They didn’t take everything else? And you think this is the NC doing their job?

Still waiting for HBs justification, but I can’t imagine it will have much more to offer than this.
