I always wear the suit to and from the interview. Generally just wear a nice dress shirt, no tie. Have a nice shirt and tie in my bag. I want to look and feel good the entire time. Never know who you may run into. I don’t like carrying suit carriers, and I’m not folding it up. Just be careful to not empty out a burrito onto it.
Depending on how long I’m where I’m going, I’ll bring a pair of jeans and a nice shirt or polo to get dinner. Maybe workout clothes to go shake out my nerves and get a good night’s sleep.
