Remember, GoJet is part of a holding company, TSH. They have to fulfill the contracts or TSH, the parent company, will take it in the shorts with penalties. It’s the same reason they have still been hiring. The moment announcements are made people will start to look for lifeboats. Hiring the pilots and being over staffed is cheaper than the penalties they would incur by not fulfilling contracts.
UAL announcement will come first. Then probably a DAL announcement.
And no, all those CRJs won’t find homes with AAL. As a matter of fact I’ll place a bet that none find homes with AAL flown by GoJet.
