Second, what you don't realize is that there is nothing the Co wants to do less than reassign pilots because of the trickle down effect that negatively impacts the operation down stream. The ball was dropped on this reassignment language. Period. It’s easier to just come out and own it. ALPA knows it’s not a good thing.
We had the opportunity to put some stop gaps in place to ensure this reassignment isn’t abused. We didn’t.
