Keeps you flying. CS will keep adding any open flying to pilots on the turnback list before adding to RSV pilots not on the turnback list. It also prevents flying from being appropriated.
No experience on the turn back list but I have heard a few guys complaining about not getting turned back.
Essentially it could help a commuter reserve pilot get more overnights.
