Pick your regional like you’re going to spend the rest of your career there. You probably won’t. But you just might. I fly with plenty of people who were in class at a major or even waiting on OE at one (got the type to show for it) when something happened and they ended up out of a job and back at the regional.
Hope for the best. Plan for the worst. Your career progression can fall apart in a day, with as little as one stroke of a pen. Pick a company you could spend the rest of your career with, and that you can come back to with seniority if the next step doesn’t pan out for whatever reason.
