Your assumption is that AA pilots earn the same amount of money as Delta pilots. I would bet our total compensation is at least 20-30% less on average. Driving to work is definitely a game changer. But going from a Delta or Fedex to AAL is a significant financial hit over a 20-30 year career. Unless APA can find a way to get their sh*t together
