But also a lot of military guys come for 3 months then get on a Major... hard to tell on the attrition report and not everyone is on Facebook posting there life after SkyWest.. Go look in the Envoy topics. The have similar high numbers of people leaving under the 1.5 years service mark..
Maybe you should talk with your boss about the training failure percentage, it's been slowly increasing (percentage wise) for the last 5 years, which he said means the department is doing exactly what it needs to. He said it rather proudly and a bit of smug.
When you take in that the bulk of systems training is with CBT's and thus self taught, all the less than a year FO's teaching class, brand new sim instructors-well? The simple correlation is there and the industry, the employment pool, and the feds are taking notice. Anybody that has been in the training department for more than 10 years will tell you the same thing.
