Unless you have previous 756 time and/or international experience (and no, Mexico or the Caribbean does not count), be prepared for a firehose with the current 756 training footprint.

Perhaps this will change going forward, but IMHO, the current program is really tailored for transitioning UA pilots, not new hires. But if you know that going in, the airplane is great and the flying can be a blast depending on base.

Also note that there is not a freeze to go up a category to the 756 from the 737 or 320 if one desired to do so after the first year.
