An acquisition would certainly fulfill the growth requirements for the next few years depending on how many of their deliveries were negotiated in the deal. Whether NK would pay Indigo a premium for those slots is an unknown. I also don't know the tolerance for 4 different engine types but that'd be a minor issue, aside from the poorer CFM fuel burn, with manuals and maintenance. Boeing has presented a 3/2 aircraft full fleet swap plan with simulator and MX support. I don't want F9 or antique airplanes but who knows what's coming our way. Hopefully Ted's welcome email is a tad longer than Bob's was.
